Abigail & Esther

Wisdom, Timing, and Courage

Our first study brought women together in person and online to examine the decisions of Abigail and Esther. We discussed how to respond wisely under pressure, when to speak or wait, and what courage requires when action carries a personal cost.

Through Scripture, shared insights, and reflection questions, we considered how these accounts speak to our own responsibilities and choices.

Identity in a new season

Sharon

“I’m learning the new season isn’t about losing who I was but about who God is calling me to become.”

Selected passage

Since my kids have grown & entered their own seasons of life, I found myself in a new season too. For so long, most of my identity was wrapped up in being a mom & taking care of everyone else. You helped me to slow down, look inward and look inside and really dig spiritually and mentally to discover who I am beyond the roles I’ve had for so many years.

Dumpling Darlings

An Amuse-Bouche of Purpose

The room was filled with good food, honest conversation, biblical truth, laughter, and the beginning of genuine connection.

Session One introduced the heart, vision, and purpose of Seasoned Women of Faith. Ebony Morgan shared her testimony of healing and deliverance and taught from Ezekiel 37:1–10, reminding the women that God can speak life into places that appear dry, delayed, or beyond recovery.

A guided group experience reinforced the lesson and gave the women an opportunity to release a declaration of faith: they would not allow the enemy to stop their progress, but would pursue what the Lord has called them to do. It was a beautiful beginning to a six-week journey of preparation, healing, connection, and obedient response.

01 · The Teaching

It Was Never in Vain

Ezekiel 37 became the biblical anchor for confronting dry places and agreeing with what God has spoken.

02 · The Testimony

Healing and Deliverance

Ebony shared from her own life, not to center the pain, but to point clearly to the restoring power of Jesus Christ.

03 · The Response

A Declaration of Faith

The women declared that opposition would not stop their progress toward what God has called them to pursue.

Session Two
The Appetizer

Charcuterie & Christ

An afternoon of laughter, honest conversation, biblical fellowship, and genuine connection.

Charcuterie & Christ

The Appetizer of Connection

The afternoon held plenty of laughter, honest conversation, tender tears, and the unmistakable joy of women discovering genuine connection.

Session Two brought women around the table for charcuterie, guided conversation, and biblical fellowship. Through table prompts and shared reflection, the women spoke about God’s faithfulness, wisdom gained through life experience, Kingdom purpose, calling, and the importance of surrender.

The Biblical Charades activity invited the women to embody familiar women of the Bible and consider what their lives still teach us about courage, obedience, persistence, and faith. The women also received their My Next Yes journals as a place to record what God reveals, confirms, heals, and calls forth throughout the journey.

01 · The Connection

Honest Conversation

Guided prompts created room for laughter, vulnerability, shared wisdom, and the beginning of deeper sisterhood.

02 · The Activity

Biblical Charades

Women of the Bible came alive through charades that reinforced courageous obedience and enduring faith.

03 · The Journal

My Next Yes

Each woman received a dedicated place to preserve her testimony and respond to what God is revealing.

Honoring the King

Discerner. Chain Breaker. Healer. Lover of our souls. Listening Father. Faithful. Provider. Sustainer. The Living Word. Proven King. Place of safety and refuge. Mind Regulator. Promise-Keeper.

These are just a few of the ways the women described who the Lord had been to them. As they shared their testimonies, we were reminded that our stories are not simply accounts of what we have endured or survived. They are evidence of the character, power, mercy, and faithfulness of God. Every testimony pointed back to the One who carried, kept, delivered, restored, and remained faithful through it all.

The atmosphere was filled with worship and admiration as each woman placed her crown at the feet of the King. In that symbolic act, she acknowledged that the very best of who she is belongs to Him. Her gifts, victories, wisdom, accomplishments, and testimony were attributed to the Lord Jesus and surrendered back to Him for use in His Kingdom.

Our worst days do not change who God is. Our weakness does not weaken Him, and our uncertainty does not make Him uncertain. A difficult day may affect how clearly we can see His hand, but it never alters His character. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 ESV.

01 · The Testimony

Let the Redeemed Say So

The women shared honest evidence of the Lord’s healing, provision, protection, deliverance, and sustaining grace.

02 · The Worship

Honoring the King

Every testimony directed attention away from the pain endured and toward the proven faithfulness of Jesus Christ.

03 · The Surrender

Casting Crowns

Each woman placed her crown at the feet of the King, surrendering the best of who she is for use in His Kingdom.

Taste & See

The Year of My Next Yes

Saturday was about far more than creating beautiful vision boards. It was an invitation to discern the season, recognize what it requires, and consider what faithful obedience could look like over the next year.

After fellowship and a refreshing visit to the sorbet bar, the women examined The Anatomy of a Season and a commonly overlooked truth in Ecclesiastes 3:1: if there is a time for everything, then there are also times when certain actions, expectations, and responses are not appropriate. Planting calls for patient obedience. Wilderness requires surrender, discernment, and formation. Harvest demands faithful urgency and stewardship. Transition requires the courage to release what God has completed and trust Him with what comes next.

The teaching became the biblical foundation for the women’s personal mini-vision boards. These were not wish lists, attempts to predict the future, or exercises in manifesting personal desires. The women were invited to prayerfully consider one central question: What could my life look like one year from now if I fully surrendered and consistently obeyed God’s direction?

They painted, selected images and words, reconsidered what genuinely belonged, and created visual reminders of what the Lord had placed before them. Every board was different because obedience is personal, but each began with the same posture: Lord, help me recognize what comes from You, and give me the courage to say yes.

01 · The Teaching

The Anatomy of a Season

Planting, wilderness, harvest, and transition each require a response aligned with what God is developing in that season.

02 · The Discernment

From Reflection to Focus

The women considered what belonged on their boards because it reflected God’s direction, not merely personal ambition.

03 · The Response

A Visual Next Yes

Each board became a prayerful reminder to keep seeking the Lord, testing what is discerned against Scripture, and responding faithfully.

Sunday Dinner

What Are You Bringing to the Table?

We shared a meal, thanked God for all He has done, and reflected on the lessons we have explored together.

Seasoned Women of Faith gathered for Sunday Dinner, Week Five of our Meal Prep Launch Experience. We revisited our journey through the first five weeks, from recognizing God’s redemptive work in our lives and reclaiming our identity in Christ to honoring His faithfulness through testimony and seeking His direction for our current season.

Our Sunday Dinner teaching, grounded in Ephesians 5:15–21, brought that reflection into everyday practice. We considered how walking wisely, yielding to the Holy Spirit, speaking with truth and grace, and honoring Christ in our relationships shape what we bring to our homes, friendships, ministries, and communities.

The women also shared the mini-vision boards they created during the previous week’s Taste & See gathering. This provided an opportunity to discuss what they had prayerfully considered and encourage one another as they seek God’s direction.

Each woman was encouraged to spend the week praying about her “Next Yes” to God in preparation for our final session, How Sweet It Is. Women who desired continued accountability were also given an opportunity to express their interest, with participation remaining voluntary.

Plans for future gatherings were previewed. Current gathering details are available in the Events section of the website.

Thank you to every woman who joined us for Sunday Dinner. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, fellowship, and grow together in Christ!

01 · The Fellowship

Dinner and Thanksgiving

We shared a meal and thanked God for His faithfulness throughout our lives and our time together.

02 · The Teaching

Living Wisely

Ephesians 5:15–21 called us to examine our daily walk, words, responses, and relationships under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

03 · The Reflection

Preparing for Our Next Yes

The women shared their vision boards and were encouraged to pray throughout the week about their next step of obedience.

How Sweet It Is

What’s on Your To-Go Plate?

Our final serving gave the women time to remember the journey, name what they are carrying forward, and consider what faithful obedience may require next.

Session Six brought the Meal Prep Launch Experience to a meaningful close. Through A Taste of the Journey, the women revisited memorable moments from the previous five gatherings and reflected on what God allowed them to experience together.

Over dessert and conversation, the women shared truths, encouragement, and experiences they are taking with them from Meal Prep. What’s on Your To-Go Plate? and Build Your Next Menu created space to identify areas for continued growth and consider the next steps the Lord may be placing before them.

We also returned to the vision boards so that Charity, who had not yet had an opportunity to present, could share her reflections and the areas in which the Lord had brought greater clarity.

As we looked ahead, the women named subjects they would like to study more deeply or revisit, including women of the Bible, discernment, identity in Christ, spiritual warfare, grief recovery, self-care, and organizing life in a manner that honors the Lord. These interests helped inform planning for future Bible studies and gatherings.

The afternoon also included an unexpected presentation of gifts and heartfelt acknowledgments for Ebony. The generosity, words of appreciation, and loving embraces were deeply received and sincerely appreciated.

We concluded with thanksgiving, prayer, closing appreciation, plenty of warm hugs, and a final group photograph with those who were able to be present. Meal Prep is complete, but none of us leaves the table empty-handed. The women carry forward biblical truth, encouragement, meaningful connections, and a clearer understanding of what faithful obedience may require next.

01 · The Reflection

A Taste of the Journey

The women revisited meaningful moments from all six weeks and recognized what God had revealed, confirmed, and developed along the way.

02 · The Response
